DCE Pleads with Great Olympics to drop case against GFA


The District Chief Executive of Wassa East, Mr Wilson Arthur has expressed his disappointment on how Accra Great Olympics are handling their issues with the Ghana Football Association.

Accra Great Olympics are battling it out with the GFA at the Human Right Court after an initial ruling by the Accra High Court went against them.

The owner of newly promoted Division One League side, Skyy FC claims Accra Great Olympics though have a genuine case must soften its grounds to ensure football in the country go on.

“In situation like this your response will determine what will happen in future, sometimes if you have genuine case and you decide to stretch it to the last point, to hell with anyone, it does not help and I would have soften my grounds if I was in the shoes of Great Olympics ” Mr. Wilson Arthur said this in an interview with Spice Fm’s Francis Hema.

Mr. Arthur’s Skyy FC recorded their first pre-season victory after a 3-2 win against Ayinasie based Karela United.
