Former Accra Great Olympics defender Dan Quaye has advised the young generation of journalists to learn from the veterans.
The stalwart defender who was speaking on WestGold Radio regarding comments on Accra Great Olympics and Ghana Football Association dispute rebated that he was earlier misquoted by the media and should have been consulted before going ahead to publish the article.
The former Black Stars right back had a quote assigned to his name for opening a tap of insults on Accra Great Olympics who have held the start of the Ghana Premier League following a court injunction served to the Ghana Football Association on February 28.
Quaye didn’t deny quotes attributed to him, but claimed the journalist should first consult him before publishing the interview.
“You have to first consult me if you’re going to publish anything of that sort. The interview wasn’t about that, when the veterans interview me, they consult if they want to publish the interview on Social Media.
“I don’t have any contract with Great Olympics, but I started my career at Accra Great Olympics and to Accra Hearts of Oak before going abroad.
“The young ones must learn from the old ones”. – Dan Quaye told George Kuntu Blankson on WestGold Radio.
