Ghana’s Black Princesses are handed a tough group alongside host nation, France in the 2018 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Host France, Ghana, New Zealand and newbies Netherland make up Group A of the 2018 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Ghana’s Under-20 team snatched one of the two slots available for Africa by beating Cameroon 4:1 on aggregate to make a fifth consecutive appearance at the tournament.
Ghana will play France on the opening day, August 4.
Netherland Under-20 Women’s team made their maiden appearance and will be playing Coach Yusif Basigi’s lads on August 8 at Stade de la Rabine, Vannes.
New Zealand secured the sloth in the Oceania Football Confederation and will be the only rep from the confederation and will tie up against Ghana on August 12.
Group A: France, Ghana, New Zealand, Netherland.
Group B: North Korea, England, Mexico, Brazil
Group C: United States, Japan, Paraguay, Spain
Group D: Haiti, China PR, Nigeria, Germany
