Owner of Skyy FC has admitted the delay of the current season is having a huge effect on the club financially.
The Wassa East District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Wilson Arthur admitted how the Accra Great Olympics and GFA legal saga is affecting the club’s pocket.
CEO of New Edubiase Abdul Salem Yakubu, President of Phar Rangers Nana Yaw Amponsah among others have made similar claim.
In a conversation with Francis Hema after their 3:2 win against Karela United at the newly constructed Daboase Park, the Skyy Group of Companies owner revealed.
“Financially, it has hit us because you have to pay February salary as if you played the league, we are feeding them and injuries as well, is really expensive” said Mr.Wilson Arthur said.
This revelation comes in sharp contrast with what club coach, Malik Mohammed thinks. The manager of the DOL side had earlier revealed how best the situation had helped Skyy FC to put more meat on their bones ahead of the season.
The Ghana football association is currently in a legal tussle with Accra Gt.Olympics at the Accra high court.
