Head coach of Planners Football Club, Denis Delali Ansah has expressed confidence of his side qualifying from the upcoming National Division One League season to play in the Ghana’s top flight league.
Planners FC who came second in their debut season in the 2015/16 National Division One League defeated newly promoted Weavers FC of Agbozume by a lone goal in a preseason friendly at the Ho Sports Stadium on Friday, 9th March 2018.
Planners fc head coach, Denis Delali Ansah in a post-match interview expressed his optimism about his side qualifying to play in the 2018/19 Ghana Premier League season.
“We are qualifying to the premiership, straightaway. That is our objective for the season. Personally I believe we are on course so definitely we are qualifying to play in the Ghana Premier League”.
He further shed light on the impact, the injunction on the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League has had on his team preparations.
“The injunction has affected the team both positively and negatively. Negative wise, the injunction has kept us waiting and it’s making our expenditures go high. But technically, I think it’s okay for me. It has offered me ample time to put my team in better shape”.
Meanwhile Planners FC according to reports will honor their home games at the Ho Sports Stadium in the upcoming season.
